In Enfield town, where whispers play,
Kids forgot the joy of reading one day.
Matthew and Cheryl, a dynamic pair,
Decided to take them on a journey rare.
With wizard hats and a book in hand,
They led the kids to a magical land.
Pages turned to winding trails,
Imagination soared, like kites with tails.
Dragons roared, galaxies spun,
In Enfield Library, the real fun's begun.
But kids saw the library, worn and old,
A tale of love waiting to be told.
So off they went, the kids so bright,
To rally the town, day and night.
The Mayor, Commissioners, all in tow,
They shared their tales, in joy they'd grow.
"Create a space, so bright and new,
For learning, reading, for me and you!"
The town, inspired by the children's quest,
Began a journey, to give their best.
With hammers pounding and saws a-whir,
The library transformed, the magic sure.
A haven for kids, so safe and grand,
In Enfield's heart, a library stand.
Games to play, classes to attend,
A place for meetings, where stories blend.
Podcasts created, ideas to explore,
In Enfield Library, forevermore.
The adults joined in, a delightful sight,
Sipping coffee, munching muffins, reading light.
Pages turned, and stories were read,
In the Book Nook, imaginations were fed.
The moral of the tale, in Seussian rhyme,
Is clear as day, it's not a crime.
Support your library, let joy unfurl,
For every child, let reading swirl.
In Enfield's embrace, where stories sing,
The magic of reading, let it bring.
To every child, in every town,
A library's love, never let it down.
